Lemon juice | 1 tbsp |
Instructions
Step 1
Firstly, in a large wok heat 2 tbsp oil, add ½ tsp mustard rice, ½ tsp cumin and pinch hing. Splutter the tempering.
Step 2
Add ½ onion, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste and saute slightly. Also add 1 potato, ¼ tsp salt and cook until the potato is cooked well.
Step 3
Further add ½ tsp turmeric, 1 tsp chilli powder, ½ tsp cumin powder and ½ tsp garam masala. Saute until the spices turn aromatic.
Step 4
Now add 3 cup of cooked rice and ½ tsp salt. Mix gently making sure all the spices are well combined. Add 2 tbsp coriander and 1 tbsp lemon juice. mix well.

Finally, enjoy aloo rice recipe with raita or pack it in your lunch box.
